Artists at Eden

Ever since the opening of the Eden Project in May 2000, the Eden team have been keen to use both local and international artists and their work to reinforce and enhance the Eden message.

One of the first artists that was commissioned to work on the project was Royal Academician and Royal Watercolour Society painter Anthony Eyton. Inspired by Anthony’s long relationship with Eden, we decided to bring him back to work at the Project once again, along with three other Royal Watercolour Society painters – Fay Ballard, Neil Pittaway, and Julie Held – all not only admirers of Anthony’s work but also old friends.

Our film follows our four artists as they each set to work to create a piece of art. We hear their thoughts not only about their artistic technique and their influences, but also about the inspiration and doubts and misgivings that beset all artists in the process of creation.

The film is in DVD format.
